Family Migration  
   
 

Parent Migration

Parents who want to join their children living in Australia, may migrate to Australia permanently under the Parent Migration program.

To be eligible for Parent Migration, the following requirements must be met:

  • Your child is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen settled in Australia
  • At least half of your children must be living permanently in Australia, or you must have more children living permanently in Australia than in any single country.

Child Migration

For child who wants to migrate to Australia may apply for a visa under this option.

The child needs to be sponsored by their parent. The sponsoring parent must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen.

Aged Dependent Visa

Aged persons who rely on a relative in Australia for most of their living costs may migrate to Australia to live with the relative.  

Remaining Relative Visa

All your relatives are living in Australia and you are the only remaining relative outside Australia, your relative may sponsor you to migrate to Australia.
